Busy, Busy, Busy!!!!!
I apologize for not posting for awhile. July has been flying by for me!! So I guess I'll let you know what's been going on in my life. So for the first week in July I was able to go to a Christian camp called the Wilds. The Wilds offers amazing activities and sermons. One of the highlights for me at the Wilds was hiking to one of their waterfalls!!!
I loved hiking to this waterfall and would recommend it to anyone who goes to the Wilds. Most people say at the wilds that it's the hardest hike, but personally, I didn't think it was that hard. Now the waterfall is actually much higher than how it looks in the picture. You also can swim in the part that is encircled by the waterfall! Do you see that one waterfall on the left? You can sit underneath it and let the water fall right on you! Let me tell you about freezing, but it was so refreshing after the hike.
I also just returned from another camp called NCASC (North Carolina Association of Student Councils). Now this is not a Christian camp, but it is so much fun! This camp helps with student councils in schools all around North Carolina and since I was elected as Secretary, I had the chance to go! You meet so many people it blows your mind! One of the highlights for me was the one-on-one conversation you had to do with a random person at camp. I chose to talk with a girl named Katie. The camp gave us 20 questions to finish in 20 minutes that we could use to help start a conversation such as, "What makes you happiest?" or "What was one of your best childhood memories?" Me and Katie had many of the same interests. It was crazy how I had learned so much about Katie in 20 minutes than I had learned about many people in say a couple months!!! So this just goes to show don't be afraid to talk to people and also be willing to listen. Sometimes people are just looking for someone to listen to them.
I'll try and keep ya' updated!!!

Summer Hairstyles
So today I'd like to share some of my favorite summer hairstyles with you. Maybe it will even give you more ideas on what to do to your hair!
So the truth is, I haven't tried this one yet, but a girl at my church did it once and it looked amazing! The DIY shows every step (which is really nice!). If you are looking for a smaller bun though, you can try and find a smaller sock. I really like this hairstyle for summer because it keeps long or short hair out of your face and it makes any outfit look cute!
The Boho Braid I like especially because of its cute look and it also keeps your hair off of your face. This hairstyle is a bit more casual, so if your looking for a more fancy look I'd go with the sock bun. This hairstyle is a bit more tricky than most braids. To get the nice and pretty braid you have to keep it very tight. Last time I tried just using my hands and putting the braids together, but it didn't really work. I you get this hairstyle to work and you did something different, let me know!
The name of this hairstyle says it all! You are literally knotting your hair! I have tried this hairstyle many times and Iove it! Now I still haven't figuered out how to complete the second knot, but I'll keep trying. Anyways just a tip, on part 2 where she is seperating 2 parts of her hair I would suggest putting elasctics on both strands at the very top. It will keep them seperated while knotting them and then you can take them out once you brand the 2 strands of hair.
Fish Tail Braid
This is also another one of my favorites. This is like the original 3 strand braid except you are only using 2 big strands of hair. For a fish tail you first seperate your hair into 2 strands on one side of your head. Then you take a small group of hair from one the strands (It dosen't really matter which one you choose). Take that group of hair and bring it over to the other strand. Constantly do this with each big strand of hair until you reach the bottom of your hair.
This hairstyle I have not tried yet, but it looks really cute! If you really like ponytails, but are looking for something more classy, then this is the thing for you!
This to me could really be 2 hairstyles. Sometimes for church I like to do my hair all the way up to step 3, but If it's kinda hot outside sometimes I decide to do all the steps and end up with a cute bun. Aslo when I do this hairstyle I have to make sure I dont make to big of a hole to pull my hair through, becuase if I do the side of my hair is a mess. So becarefull not to make a very big hole!
Hope you enjoyed these summertime hairstyles! Also if have any tips or any other great summer hairstyles please comment and let me know! I would love to add them!

3 days left!!!!
I can officially tell you that there are only 3 days left of school for me!!! I am soooooo excited!!! I can't wait for exams to be over with. Next week on Tuesday is our last day. We aren't doing any actual school, but it's just a party with everyone from school. I kinda wish I could just stay home. In a way it will be fun, but I am going to be so wiped out! Exams take away all of my energy! You stay up late trying to study a lot, you also have homework, and you get really stressed out about if you will pass or not (or at least I do!). Also student council voting is this thursday! I`m excited to see who all is voting for me! So far, it sounds like I've got a good number of people wanting to vote for me, but I guess I will just have to wait and see!

School!!!
So there is officially 3 weeks left of school for me!! Aghhhh!! I am freaking out!! It will be nice not having homework during the entire weekend and I will finally just be able to relax. Even though my school does give a lot of tests and homework I have really enjoyed this year at Liberty Prep. It`s the best school I've been to so far and there has rarely been drama. Every has been very nice and I have learned a lot from the teachers. Also I am running for secretary for the school council at Liberty Prep. THey have never had a student council before so I am excited to see how it will go. I hope I get the chance to be secretary. It will help me a lot with note taking and hearing what everyone else has to say. So I will update you on how the votes go and let you know if I get voted for secretary!

Music oh how I love thee...
So recently I've been listening to these two songs like all day. I'll admit I have a lot of favorite songs and I don't think I could pick one but these two have stuck with me for awhile. So the first song is Life in technicolor by Vitamin String Quartet
Most of my favorite songs consist of pop or christian but I also love classical and string. To me it`s the best songs to go to bed to. The're so calming and relaxing. I also love this song because it was made by coldplay. I love coldplay because their music is a combination of string and pop.
The other song that`s been stuck in my head is Dreamer by Jenn Grant
I like this song because its the theme song from the tv show heartland. The sound is also just so calming.

New Assassins Creed Game!! No way!!!
A few days ago me and a friend are walking in the mall together. As we are walking she says, "Do you wana go in to gamestop?" I say, "Sure! Why not." So as I walk in to Game stop something catches my eye. And the first thing that comes out of my mouth is OH MY WORD. What I saw in Game stop was cases for pre-orders of the new Assassins Creed revolution game coming out in October. I had heard Ubisoft wasn't planning on making a another assassins creed so when I saw the game I was pretty surprised. So anyways I`m pretty excited to see what they`ll put in the game. So here is the trailer!!!!
